Dine in exclusive glass front, track facing tables at Sha Tin. Our guests enjoy a five star international buffet and food station service which includes imported lobster, oysters, prime beef and a wide selection of scrumptious hot and cold delights and sweets. Enjoy the electric atmosphere of night racing at Happy Valley featuring the night racing. Supper is also served later in the night, whilst unlimited pouring of beverages including champagne, wine, beer & whiskey. 

CONGHUA Racecourse & Training Facilities

Private Tour
We will visit the newest arm of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the Conghua training facility. Spread across 150 hectares, Conghua Racecourse can house more than 660 active, in-training horses at its current stable capacity.

CHAMPIONS DAY: BREAKFAST WITH THE STARS TRACKWORK

Sha Tin: Owners Box
Watch the contenders for the international races go through their final work outs at Sha Tin before the big events. Rub shoulders with leading international and local trainers, jockeys, owners and stable staff, as well as the worlds racing media. Breakfast is included in the owners box overlooking the track.

CHAMPIONS DAY: BARRIER DRAW

Sha Tin: Parade Ring
Following breakfast with the stars, we are invited to witness the barrier draw for the big Group 1 races for HKIR. This is often a great opportunity for a photo or selfie with your favourite jockey or trainer.

Experience fine Northern Chinese dining 18 stories above Victoria Harbour with sweeping views of the dazzling night sky. Hutong is located in the futuristic H Zentre building. Guests will experience modern Chinese dining with premium beverage package.

The Hong Kong racing industry is recognised as having no peer on the world stage. April is one of the most important racing periods of the year in Hong Kong, featuring the running of the prestigious FWD Champions Day meeting. It attracts the finest trainers and jockeys throughout the world who compete in one of the toughest racing stages, including three international Group 1 races. Our tour takes in racing at both Happy Valley and Sha Tin.

SHA TIN

FWD Champions Day
FWD Champions Day is arguably the biggest and most exciting day of racing outside of HKIR. Three Group 1 races ensure a fantastic day of racing with these races making up HK$65 million in prizemoney. The Queen Elizabeth II Cup (worth HK$25 million) is one of the focal points along with the Chairmans’ Sprint Prize and Champions Mile. The Group 1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize is the final leg of the Hong Kong Speed Series.

HAPPY VALLEY

Night meeting
In the lead up to the FWD Champions Day meeting, Happy Valley plays host to us as a pre-cursor. The Happy Valley track is particularly picturesque, with the night racing atmosphere electric.
