CHEVELEY PARK

Cheveley Castle was built in 1341
Several monarchs have owned Cheveley Park
Now owned by the Thompson family who purchased the property in 1975.
Pivotal was bred and raced by the stud
Pivotal was trained by Sir Mark Prescott to win the Gr 1 Nunthorpe Stks
Pivotal went on to be champion sire and stood at Cheveley until his death in 2021 (age 28)
His son Siyouni is highly successful and among the top 10 most expensive stallions in the world.
Pivotal is also the sire of Gr 1 winners Addeybb, Farhh (stallion at Dalham Hall)
Cheveley is a highly successful owner of racehorses in the UK.
They have around 100 horses currently in work both flat and jumps.

BANSTEAD MANOR

Juddmonte was established by Prince Khalid Abdullah – he passed away in January 2021

Prince Khalid was one of the sons of Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman, a younger half-brother of King Abdulaziz, the founder of Saudi Arabia.

Prince Khalid purchased his first thoroughbreds in 1977.

His model was to breed his racehorses, rather than buy them and he went about building an elite broodmare band.

Banstead Manor was purchased in November 1987

Best horses raced/bred by Juddmonte inc: Frankel (TimeForm 147), Dancing Brave (140), , Warning (136), Known Fact (135) Enable (134).  

Arrogate (139) was purchased by Prince Khalid to stand at his Kentucky farm.
